Membership Benefits
To promote quality home child care in order to provide the best Services to children, parents, and providers in the State of Texas;
Membership packet with membership card and certificate.
Members Only: Downloading our quarterly newsletter with training topics approved for DPRS training hours.
Free Regional Workshops with up to 5 hours of training.
Discount NAFCC Membership of $30.00**
Discount to Annual Educational and Enrichment Conference.
A basic listing in our provider directory.
Representation on many child care boards and committees.
Board Members to assist with questions or problems concerning home child care.
Right to attend all TPHCCA Board Meetings.

Membership Types
ACTIVE MEMBERSActive Members-owners and/or co-owners who are
registered or licensed with the Department of Family and Protective
Services or regulated military jurisdiction for home child care facilities.
Each member is entitled to one (I) vote. TDPRS Internet Web Site will verify
active Membership. Only send a copy of your TDPRS Licenses or Registration and
a copy of your check or money order if requested.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSAssociate Members-Associate members are listed
homes or employees of a Licensed child care home. Associate members may
serve as a chair or on a committee. They are not entitled to hold office.
They shall be entitled to (1) one vote. If the home
has more than 1 employee, only 1 person may vote. Providers, who do not provide
TPHCCA with a copy of their TDPRS Registration or Licenses and a copy of their
check or money order that was sent for current Registration or license, or be
verified by TDPRS Internet Web Site, will be listed as an Associate Member.
HONORARY MEMBERSHonorary Members-persons whom the association wishes to recognize.
Honorary members shall be entitled to all privileges of associate members.
LIFETIME MEMBERSLifetime Members-Exclusive to all Past Presidents in good standing.
To have the same benefits as active or associate member depending upon each individual case.
CORPORATE MEMBERS
Corporate Members-Corporate members are corporations that provide services
that would enhance both the child care business and the provider. These are
based on Store Front Capacity.
These members will receive 20% discount on Advertisement in the VIP
Newsletter as well as discount on exhibit space at Conference. Upon joining as a
Corporate Member, you will receive one complementary quarter page size advertising
privilege in our VIP Newsletter. Corporate members are responsible for contacting
the Publication Chair with the advertising material. Corporate These members may
exhibit at Regional Workshops with Regional Representative approval.
AGENCY MEMBERS
Agency Members-Agency Members are either government agencies or Non-Profit 501(c)(3)
These members will receive 15 % discount on Advertisement in the
VIP Newsletter as well as a 15% discount on exhibit space at Conference.
These members may exhibit at Regional Workshops with Regional Representative approval.
SMALL IN-HOME BUSINESS MEMBERS
Small In-Home Business Members-Small in-home business members are small in-home
businesses that provide services that would enhance either the child care business
or the provider. These Small-Home Business Members shall fall under a similar
category as of Tupperware Dealers, Independent Avon Representatives, Discovery
Toy Distributors, or Mary Kay Consultants,
etc. These businesses shall be based out of their home.
These members will receive a 10% discount on Advertisement in the
VIP Newsletter as well as 10% discount on exhibit space at Conference.
These members may exhibit at Regional Workshops with Regional Representative approval.
NAFCC Membership Information
TPHCCA is an affiliate member of NAFCC;
Therefore, TPHCCA members receive a discount membership fee of $30.00.
This is a savings of $5.00 off the regular NAFCC dues.
