October 2024 – Zoom Training – Watch for information!

MARCH 23, 2024 ~ WORKSHOP

What a great time was had by all, at the Texas Professional Home Child Care Association’s Workshop/Business Meeting held on March 23, 2024. Our Speaker/Trainer was Natasha Harris. Ms. Harris brought us
great information on “Sensory Stimulating Activities for Children with Sensory Processing Disorders” and “Nature Based Learning: Outdoor Classroom for Early Childhood Educators”. The information presented
will enhance each of our childcare homes. We want to Thank the workshop committee for a successful workshop. The meals were delicious and the gift bags perfect. To our members, it was great getting together and bonding as an association. To each of you, thank you for making this Workshop/Business Meeting an important event to attend. Connecting with fellow Childcare Professionals leaves us empowered and motivated to be the best Childcare Provider’s possible.

It was voted on by our members in attendance, that TPHCCA will continue as an association. Work is being done to fill Board and Committee positions and to update By-Laws and Policies. If anyone is
interested in a position on the Board or a Committee, please call Ronda Smith, 214-534-4325, we would love to hear from you. Thank you to those that stepped up and filled out a form to help with duties in the
different areas needed. It takes all of us to have a successful association.
